game crashes at certain speed?

I talked to someone in an open lobby and he said that drafting off of each other with some friends in x1s on route x he said that he achieved a speed of 500mph, and when it reached 501mph the game just crashed. He's probably just making up his speed number, but I wonder if the game does crash or close the lobby when a certain speed is reached. Open discussion, please don't automatically assume BS, I know what I said above, just explain how you achieved whatever you did.

Look up on youtube about route x x2011 speed records. People to indeed reach huge speeds. I cant post the link at the moment unfortunatly
