Can't you load data from one profile onto another profile on the same PS3? I thought it used to be that way but they changed it... yet when I tried to create a dupe account, it said "You have tried to load another user's data. Overwriting with fresh data".

Speaking of which, if that's the way it's supposed to be, what are you supposed to do if you want to make a clan/crew account with all your old cars?

Game saves are locked to the PSN account.

That's interesting, because I remember back when the decision was made to keep the GTP_tag system, the reason cited was that the data had been (partially, at least) unlocked and you could keep your cars instead of starting from scratch.
