Just curious if that has happened to others, or an isolated case:
So up until this morning my game has had exactly 0 issues.
Then I go to fire up the game as per usual, and get 3 messages about server being down for maintenance... ok fine, whatever. I then run a few races on Indy (Lvl 23 one) and it suddenly freezes on the track load after about the 4 run through.
The load bar finishes filling up but instead of hearing the engines fire up and the track appear... nothing.
It just sits here infinitely.
Then trying to quit via PS button causes a blank PS screen, that only goes back to the xmb if I press the eject button on the console (which funnily enough doesn't eject the disc, merely brings up the xmb ^_-)
The PS3 then needs a full reboot to recognise GT5 is still in the console.
I think it may be more than meets the eye, I've just tested FFXIII and also freezes on the loading screen!
