Game killing bug. Random Save Corruption.

Ok so this is the second time my game save has been corrupt. The first was a couple of months ago. Whenever I would start a race the game would freeze about 20 seconds after I press the enter course or race button. Online, offline, b spec, a spec, this track, that track, this car, that car, it does not matter. The same thing just happened to me now.

However, I think I have found the cause of the bug and if PD is listening I hope this helps them. I remember the first time my save got corrupt was when I got in my Peugeot 908 and went to the High Speed Ring and the game froze. After that the freezing continued on every track and car. Lone behold this is exactly what happened to me today.

Luckily for me I back up my game saves now... so I will not have to start from scratch... hopefully. Since this is the SECOND!!! time this has happened to me, it is not a freak occurrence. I know a couple of other people have had this issue (albeit possibly under different circumstances). To me this is a GAME KILLING bug and needs to addressed immediately. Imagine all the people who do not back up their saves.

So PD if you are listening PLEASE find the root cause of this bug and fix it ASAP. While it may not affect everyone, it is devastating to those it does.

Only one case, so I would just say it's a bug in your PS3 rather than a global bug.
 
I had something like this happen to me a few days ago, the Ps3 was running very slowly for the 1 hour i had it on though so it was probably a ps3 problem, i was just about to start a bspec race when the ps3 starting freezing and kicked me out of the GT5 game. I then looked at my save file as i was going to stop playing for the night (i back up my save file after each session) and was surprised to find that the save had been corrupted
 
That does make sense, that under specific given circumstances (that car, that track) the game freezes, thanks a lot mate, I progressed way too far into the game to let my save get corrupted.

High Speed Ring in the 908 for a race or for practice? if it's a race, which one? I'm a little skeptical about this one since the 908 is a very common car in peoples' garages, but I'm willing to give it a shot.
