Hello, Im wondering are there game saves that I can download that unlock everything? A long time ago my game save was deleted. If I want to get back into GT5 but do not want to unlock everything again, is that possible?

sorry mate, that's not possible. Saved games on your PS3 are locked on your PS3 and your PS3 User (I repeat: PS3 User, not PSN ID). That means you can't use a save game from another PS3, AND you can't use a save game from another User even if the other User is in the same PS3 as yours.

Only thing you can do is try to unlock everything again by yourself. But this time, make sure to back up your save games, so that when you delete them, you can go back to them any time in the future if you decide to play the game again. 👍

There is whats called "The Ultimate GT5 Save" but your PS3 has to be at 3.55 firmware or lower and GT5 needs to be at 1.09. Having said that, you obviously can't go online with this because of the GT5 auto update so its pretty much useless in my opinion. Just play the game and get everything back the right way.

That isn't accurate. GT5 game saves can be transferred to other PS3's as long as it is the same PSN id. I have done it multiple times. The user name has nothing to do with it.

"Um....... no comment!" he replies as he looks to the sky whistling and kicking some dirt with his shoe.

The ultimate game save would be a game with no progress and every ticket and car in the game. That would take a long time and a large amount of effort.

My game save once fit these criteria, but updates have changed it.

I know this ultimate game save exists but why doesn’t it update too?

We're still years away from GT6, so creating such a save is an option! 👍
But who is waiting for it....the game is already 2 years old.

You are always so wise. It would be such a big project. But I think GT6 will be released with PS4. Then we all would spend a fortune to get the PS4. I think the PS4 will be released in the 3rd quarter of 2013. (Just an uneducated guess)

Would that leave enough time to complete this project? Should we concentrate our efforts on other projects for now? Would anyone want it by the time it was finished?

Dude, get your account up to the 200 percent bonus. Get the Chap two J, You may have to borrow it. Run your b spec driver on Suz_uka online event b spec event. You should hit level 30 in about 6 hours. Run all of them as you get the b spec drivers on that challenge. Don't worry about the driver level to start. Over a million credits for a win each time, less than 20min a race. Borrow mine if I you want.

You said it was deleted a long time ago . . . perhaps maybe you can not be lazy and just do it all again. Getting platinum once is enough for most people anyways, and you can soon get a full garage and S licence within a few weeks to a month if you play a lot.

And I recommend just borrowing friends cars to start, like the above poster said - get loads of cash quick, and this also helps you level really quick too.

What you're after would basically take all the fun out of the game anyways and I thought that was what you would want - to play the game.

Quite the opposite to a lot of people. I still find it insane that the PS3 has locked saves at all. I thought video games were supposed to be fun?

Also, if I was in this situation, I might borrow glitch one or two cars, in particular the X1 Carbon as that's the only car you can't buy/ticket.

Then borrow whatever makes the most money from seasonals and grind away. Sadly it seems that "just playing" is something that's going extinct.

by my explanation, I implied that simply copying a game save (through flash drive) or getting a GT5 game save from a random source from the internet won't work. Plus, the OP mentioned he has no backup of the save file.

Sure, what you mentioned would work, IF you had PlayStation Premium. Otherwise, you're gonna have to start from scratch.

Just for the record, this is what I was referring to with my post above.

I by no means promote this, I am just answering the OP's question. In my opinion, and like I said before, just start over again and enjoy the game. Again, just posted the link to show that it is apparently possible to do what the OP was asking.
