game testers time in license tests

I just started over again after formatting my ps3. I don't know if this has been asked before, I did a little search and found nothing.
How much faster are the game testers on the gold level tests?

I bet PD keep some guy locked in a room and whenever they need a baseline for times, they just say "New tests. Go fast." And come back in a few days to see how fast he's gone.

Haha but seriously I don't think anybody knows. Honestly I don't know if they really even have an actual person try to beat the gold times at the office; I don't even know how they determine the gold times. Or the silver, or bronze. And I really don't know why/how anybody outside of PD would have any idea how much they can beat the gold time by.

That cat that pops up in the photo mode locations must have been one of the tester cats!

This would explain why PD wanted to put him in the game!

This is true for some of the events, some of the ghosts miss gold by a few tenths, some ghosts get gold by a few tenths, it varys

I doubt PD have testers that are as fast as the majority of the top 100 GT drivers in the World.

Most of the license tests on GT5 are very easy to gold and much, much easier than in previous incarnations of the game. I golded all 60 within 24 hours of getting the game on release day (around 12 hours of seat time), and a lot of them you can beat by a large margin. With SRF forced on they require much less skill than they really should.
