Game Wont Show Prize Car

I've been using my B-spec driver to race in the Deutsche Touring Car Meistershaft in the European hall so i can win the Merc and sell it.
Ive done it a fair few times, but now when i win the championship it loads the prize car screen but there isnt any music and the car doesnt appear. The cursor appears over the ok button so i hit x and it changes to a black screen with the cursor on and wont load the main map page.
I've tried re-doing this several times and it doe the same thing every time.
Any one else had this happen to them or have any idea why its doing it?
Any help would be appreciated,

Does it do it for all races or just this one?

Is your disc scratched?
 
Try Cleaning the disc and try the race in A-Spec and see if you can win the prize that way. (just for instance)
 
also, try cleaning the lens. it nay be the disk too so try both.

a-spec the race to start then when you get ahead, b-spec bob it....see if that works
 
i feel a fool, didnt even think about cleaning the disc!
its all working perfectly now, thanks guys.
when it stopped working i was beging to panic perhaps a bit too much.
 
Might also be worth checking that your garage isn't full. GT3 never gave prize cars when your garage was maxed out.
