Gamepad as buttonbox

May not be an original idea, but I'm using a gamepad as a buttonbox due to the lack of buttons on my wheel (couldn't quite afford the bmw yet).

Anyways, it works great as a temporary buttonbox.

Nice idea, I use a cheap usb keyboard and have as many buttons as i need. Made my own stickers and glued them to the keys.

This is much better. Used a dash mount magnet and heavy duty, removable double-sided tape. It holds very well, and won't get shaken loose.

A little while ago, I used an arcade/fight stick as a button box. It mostly served menu duty in Raceroom, but I also had DRS and P2P mapped to it, and it worked fairly well. I didn't have a good mounting spot for it, so I stopped using it.

I never thought to use a controller. Great idea.
