Games in 2004

As we enter a new year, the games list for 2004 looks incredible.

What games are you looking forward to playing in the new year.

For me, the most important ones are:

Final Fantasy XII
Gran Turismo 4
Resident Evil Outbreak
Metal Gear Solid (Snake Eater)

:D Can't wait. Should be a good year.
 
The only game I'm really waiting for is GT4. Beside that I'll probably play some of todays top games, when their prices drop. :)

It was a but short but I enjoyed the game and the ending left me wanting more.

PGR2 (Maybe if I can be arsed to play my X-Box)

Apart from that, I couldn't care less.

Of course I did - it's my favourite ps2 rpg.

You should give Legend of Dragoonf for ps1 a shot - it was, imo, the best released for that console. The ending of the game left lots of room for a sequel and because of the amount of history used in the game, a prequel is also VERY possible. We'll just have to see if Sony has anything planned - the Legend of Dragoon was 5 years in the making & nobody knew about it till it came out - maybe they are planning the same again?

I did play that game.


I didn't like it, the characters and story were very generic and the battles were, uh can I just say Burning Rush?
Seriously that was a waste of 5 years for such a mediocre game.
The best RPG on the PSX was bloody Xenogears.

Final Fantasy XII (maybe, after the crap that's called X, X-2, and XI, I'm very doubtful)

Tons of sequels, I can't think of any original games.

And Doom 3.


God. Doom 3 is a gaming masterpeice. :drool:

i heard some rumors that a squel is being planned, but when i have no clue.

I had to buy the American version of Episode 1, because they never relesased it in Europe.

Did you play Xenogears?
 
no, never played xenogears - gonna see if I can get it after school starts up...but I'd rather put my money into a pair of Grado SR60's - they're more useful.

Beh I've have a pair of Seinheisers that have lasted me for about 3 years. If I get something really expensive i'll break it in about 5mins. I'm like that with stuff.

By the way Xenogears is a really rare game to come across. Still if you can't find it, there are other ways to get it..........
 
I've got a friend who has the game...or probably 2-6 hours waiting for my *other* sources :D
 
Borrow it, if you liked Xenosaga you will get hooked, in allot of aspects it's better than Xenosaga.

You know Xenogears is like Part 5 of the Xenosaga story, but I doesn't realy give much away.
 
Ok basicly the only game i want is GT4, i have an xbox but halo 2 just doesnt intrest, the first one didnt either, pro race driver 2 looks good i may get that, i have pgr2 and quite like it, not enough though to fill the gap between gt3-gt4 :(. I may get halo 2..i dont know.

GT4 is my top priority :p

ok i havent played anything other than a racing game or the sims for like 1-2 years so i only want GT4 although im looking forward to SRS and maybe PRD2 but damn i wish i had an xbox so i could play project gotham series
