gameshark doesnt work!

has anyone been able to use a gameshark with GT2 and make it work?
because mine doesnt work on my game

What version GS do you have and what version of the game?
I have a GS and a codebreaker that both work fine.

does it say what version of GT2 on the case?

i have GS version 4.0

The GS you have is designed to work with the PS2 only and is not backward compatable with PS1 games.

Is it a GS V4.0 or a GS2 V4.0? cuz i thought there was a GS cdx that was 4.0 for the PSX

Ok, so that should work with GT2, assuming that U are using it in a PSX. I used to hybrid GT2 with a cdx 3.3 with no problem. U will need to use the enable code for that version of cdx, which should already be installed in the GT2 code section. Then as Mr C. said, U will need to determine the version of the game U have so U know which basecodes to use. One way to do this is to try the money code for each version till U find one that works.

ill try that but when you say PSX do you mean the first or the second one?

because ive had mine for about 4 years
and i think sony may have changed it....

by PSX I mean the square gray one. I think it should also work in PSone
