I've got two cards for GT4. One card I use for "cheats & hybrids" (it's for when hybriding becomes available) and one real card.

Speaking of... does anybody here know if/when Mk is going to acquire (read: steal, buy, get as a gift, or otherwise) a copy of GT4 and code a garage editor for the game?

I cannot, for the life of me, get the "Max Cash" code onto my hybrid card. I have Gameshark2 Version 2.2. Do I have to upgrade to version 4 to make it all work?

I might not have the correct codes for GT4 with a GS2 V2. Does anyone know the correct GT4 codes I would need to use for GS2 V2? I also run into problems with the auto load feature in GT4. GS2 version 2 uses that stupid card thing that takes up one memory card slot and it cannot save game files on it. In the swapping of discs and memory cards (from Gameshark to GT4 info) the data from the Gameshark information gets wiped off into space while GT4 auto loads *venting/frustration* the information from the memory card.

Does anyone have any ideas or experience? All I want is boo-coo bucks added on my cheat/hybrid card.

TTT ... &
I'm over it. I just went this afternoon and bought GS V5.3 (Broadband Enabled). What sucks is that I can't "inject" the max cash code into my existing game so I'll have to backup the data (via Sharkport) I have on my 'cheat/hybrid' card and start over at day 1. Either that, or I can use the "All tuneup parts are free" and "All cars are free" codes and keep going with my existing game.

At any rate, my dilemma has been solved so nobody needs to keep searching for my above questions.

um, im aware of what a gameshark does.. but wats hybriding?... ive heard it round this forum often.... i thought they were reffering to the Insight or Prius hybrid o.O lol

Hybriding is getting a car's data file off your memory card, messing with it, and putting it back.
Some usuall effects are swapping engines/drivetrains from one car to another, installing one car's parts on another, doing wierd things with the suspention parameters, etc. You need a SharkPort or MaxDrive (or something else) to get the files from the memory card to a computer though.
This is a pretty popular thing to do in GT2 & 3 (there's a board for it on this forum somewhere), but nobody's figured out how to do it with GT4 though. I wouldn't expect that it will happen in the near future, either.
If you'd like some demonstrations of the crazy stuff hybriding can do, daan and Famine have made some very nice videos, which you can get here. A more textual depiction of the possibilities of hybriding can be found at Famine's website. Don't let the crappy design fool you, he's really rather sharp. ;)

THAT.IS.AWESOME'O... so cool.. and were do you get these sharkport things.. are they expensive? and do you have the link for famines webby?
