Gamesharks: Help wanted

could someone nice please take a little time to explain to me how gamesharks work / how do you enter them??

i hav a code for Driver 2, 9which i am playing on a PS2 ) and wish to enter this code but have no idea how! could someone help me please? i can give you the code i that is relevant.

basically i hav no idea where to start!

Well seeing as Driver 2 is for the PS-One,you will need a PS-One Gameshark.If u already have it,start it up and go to select codes.There you will have to press a button that will prompt you to enter a new code.I don't have a Gameshark,i have an Xploder but it should be almost the same.Doesn't it say in the manual how to enter new codes?
 
Driver 2 was one of the best games on the PS. I didn't see the point of corrupting my experience. Try completing the game first.
