What a pointless car, why in the hell would you make something all chrome. It would be a mother to keep clean, not to mention you would just have to forget about driving it when the sun was out.
Plus gangster cars are old Caprices, Caddys, or SUV with rims that cost as much as the truck itself.
When I see an SUV with 22+ inch wheels, they look like spiders rolling across the road. How, in the hell, do some people think HUGE GLOSSY rims look GOOD?
Some big chrome rims look good, they just have to fit the vehicle. I've always wanted to put some 18's on my truck, but I can't justify spending the money right now.
I know that the 1st person that got famous from it did it with a M3 and he spent a 100 grand doing it but made a huge profit from all the publicity and shows.

Escalades are only gangsta when lowered with a trick flip paint and huge rims.
In the UK there are stages of gangsta cars.
For the poor and first time drivers a gangsters car is a black VW golf with blacked out windows and 18's or 19's.
For middle class gangsters its the 3 series coupe/convertable E46 blacked out with big rims.
Now the higher class starts with range rovers and X5 and covers up to the big executives and lambos.
hmmph. as far as I'm concerned, anything "gansta" is a huge land yaght with lots of brightwork. sometimes, those guys are as offensive as "ricers". you want really funky looking? how about a tarted up Hundai Tiburon (Coupe)...i'd call that Kimchee (Korean Sauerkraut)

Obviously if that was my A8 and I planned on driving it about I would have it in black. But just were its chromed up and it looks sick I gave it my highest accolade which is that its gangsta.
The Chrome Car concept is old anyways. Mercedes did a chrome'd I think it was an S430 or S500 afew years ago for all the major cities car shows. All the trucks used in the opening ceremony for the '96 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta were chrome'd too.

Thats old news. A photographer did this a couple years back for a Mercedes calendar. Just for show, obviously. Then, last year, someone did it to an M3 for a show. These pics are new, to me at least. But, the idea is very non-new.
