Garbled YouTube Playback

Recently the video (but not the audio) of stuff I've been watching on YouTube on my PC has been freezing and becoming garbled every couple of minutes. Is it something to do with the settings on my computer, an internet/network issue, or something else? Thank you in advance.

Could be a number of things.

What browser?

What OS?

Is flash up to date?

Are GPU drivers up to date?

What is your internet speed?

Is flash up to date?

Youtube will use HTML5 these days since all modern browsers still support it.

Flash will be used as a fallback.
