(Gauging Interest) STC300 Tuned Car Championship *CANCELLED*

As the title suggests, I am planning to host a tuned car race. These cars will be souped up road cars, and therefore no race cars will be allowed, hence I didn't call it a touring car championship, to avoid confusion (thanks GTRedline!) This thread will be a discussion thread where I can determine what everybody wants, and hopefully, adjust the rules to suit the wishes of most people.

This is what I currently have in mind for the race:

Cars
Any car that isn't already a race car. Also, it is preferred that you bring a premium car.

Restrictions
300 HP
Performance Points TBD
Sports Soft Tires

These restrictions are more than likely to change in the future.

Most (if not all) of the tracks that we race on will be real life tracks (e.g. Suzuka, Nurburgring).

The races should last for about an hour, including practice and qualification races. The races will take place one time a week (Thursdays), for a total of eight weeks (8 races in total). Times will be from 3:00PM to 4:30PM Pacific Standard Time. I will have a calendar ready that says where we are racing, the time, and other details.

Keep in mind that everything is subject to change! Please add your opinion! Also, please feel free to ask me any questions regarding this championship!

A little advice; most series race once a week with one set time. Varied times and 3 times a week makes it difficult to find people with the same schedule. Also, touring cars are race cars, which makes the name misleading.

However it's a great idea! There are a lot of diehard Honda tuners, and they love being able to pick their car and make it their own. Also, low hp races are a lot easier to make close. Hope it all works out for you.

OK, I have changed the rules a little to try and attract more racers. Championship is no longer restricted to Honda's, and HP restriction has been increased to 300 HP. Performance Points is TBA. Tire regulations remain the same (sport soft).
