Geek Store Goodies!!

2day i went to the local portuguese bakery..well beside it is one of these geek stores where they sell lord of the rings and star wars crap..anyway, i walked in and just looked around and nothing but geeks looked at me (with their eyes), all i said was " ya got any diecast car? ", he said yes and pointed to the corner...turn my head and all i see is a small stack with a gleaming GOLD impala on top...i picked it up and saw the price....$74.99!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i asked the price and was told each one was $10......dam..i quickly said ill take all of them without even looking at the red of them....anywaym here are the pics of what i got..enjoy

btw....the gold was $74.99 and the other ones were $50-57

Umm... that's how much you'd pay at Wal-Mart for those, bud. I dunno about you, but the 74.99 for a car like that is stupid. I've seen all those go for less than 20bux at Wally's.

Well for starters he's in Canada, so you have to factor the exchange rate. That'd make it about $62 here.But the next thing is, I've never seen classic cars at a store like Wal-Mart. I've occationally seen them at specialty stores like Sharper Image, but they mostly carry the new cool stuff like the Carrera GT, and they're usually $40 to $60. So honestly, these car are priced about right.

I totally dig the truck. A friend of mine drives a `65 F100 to work and it's a great truck. His is nearly all original - barely touched in its youth. If it weren't in such good shape as an original classic, I'd want him to paint it black.
