Since this is the first of the DX10 cards to hit the PC, here are some of the demos from it.

I post the specs up later, but I think I wait until the second breed of DX10 cards to come out before waiting getting a new PC.

Those images look almost as good as stuff that comes out of Pixar Studios!

I will need a new computer soon indeed...

It seems to be the most powerful single card setup released to date. Should be good 👍

Indeed :D I'd love to know what these things can do in SLi.

Lovely images. Can't wait for DX10 to be the norm so there's more variation and the prices drop a bit. I'm definitely gonna get one then.

Those images look great!!! If DX10 follows DX9 and SM3.0 technology, expect games to fulling utilize DX10 to it's fullest to take a good 1 and a half to 2 years to mature to where we actually see it's glorious capabilities.

I'm gonna try to grab an XFX 8800 GTX early next year along with a 680i motherboard.

The only downside is you need at least a 500watt PSU for the 8800 series, but 600watt is what they say you should aim for, also you need a X16 PCI Express slot, however it will not work in 8x PCI Express.

Also someone overclocked an 8800 GTX to get 20,000 in 3D Mark 06 I think. But the only low MB 8800 is the GTS, which has 640MB last time I looked.

You really need to work on your sentence structure with the adverbs and conjunctions. That first sentence was a total run-on.

EVGA gives you a free copy of Dark Messiah.

They should really do comparison tests of all these cards. I wonder if there's any difference.

Yeah, I'm not sure which would be the better card to buy. I'm leaning towards the eVGA because there are more reviews for it on Newegg right now and the board will also be eVGA. They also said eVGA tech support is great.

I've got the power requirements covered for a single card. Whenever I get the money to buy a second one I'll have to get a better PSU, most likely a Coolmax 1kW. :)

And somebody told me that a 7900GT was overkill.

Edit: Just read that Tom's Hardware article. They say nVidia said you can overclock a E6300 (that's the base 1.86Ghz Core 2 Duo) to 3.55Ghz on the new nForce 680i board without water cooling!
