They ruined the exterior. And I still prefer the sound of the "stock" Carrera GT. Thumbs down. 👎

I'm surprised someone actually paid that insane amount of money for one. It's basically 1.3-1.4 million US on top of the stock Carrera GT.

F1 car. dont watch the video and only listen. ITS AN F1 SURELY!

lol yea... i dont think a guy who blows that kind of money on one car will worry about how much clutch and tire replacements are gonna cost him

So if you owned a supercar you wouldn't burn the **** out of your tires?

:indiff: I have little faith.

No, I would, I just wouldnt have a CGT. Te clutches are a little pricey, but when you buy a car like that, I guess you can afford to buy parts every week.

Sure, it has the exhaust note of an F1 car, but there is absolutely no way it has the sheer chainsaw-cutting-sheet-metal shriek of an F1 car. Have you ever heard one accelerate past you at 150kmh? It's enough to deafen you. Literally.

The exterior looks alright, but the Carrera GT is supposed to shriek -- I have yet to hear an aftermarket exhaust for the car that sounds better than the original Porsche one.

That was the first Carrera GT that sounded somewhat cool to me.

Still haven't gotten what's so cool about the original sound. Sure it's special, but there are loads of cars that sound nicer, IMHO.

Ceramic clutches = no clutch replacement woes... hopefully.

I stood no more than 15 feet from the front straight at Indy as the cars went by at the USGP with no earplugs. They are much quieter than they are hyped up to be. NASCARs are much, much louder.

...you should have heard the V10 F1s, much different.

BTW, what's with the vendettas against rich people?

"Ok, so the guy like to buy new tires AND clutches...

Dumbass..."

I mean come on...the guy has a 1.8 million car, tires are peanuts.
And please, to all of you that says those guys are moron, hell if you have those cars you'd be as show-off, believe me.

I've looked at a couple of threads of similar high end exotic videos and the comments are all the same.
It seems you guys are scared of money, or rather the people who worked their asses off to get those huge amounts of it.
You seem to believe that to be rich you need to be in the mafia, have commited a crime, scammed people, I guess that comes from your education but still, grow up and learn to appreciate what others have done and learn from it, don't be jealous, it's time wasted.

i can respect the pride of a down to earth rich person, i know a handful and sure, im actually interested and impressed in what they have. egotistical show offs however, im really put off, no matter how good the car might be they just make it feel..bleh :indiff:

In my book - 100% pure IWOOT... - Wonder what kinda BHP that thing puts down.. Sounds anything but stock....

I don't get it. The standard CGT is an awesome car, sounds great and looks great. Who would pay the cost of an F1 car to make it go a little faster? I bet the driver can't even get the full potential out of the regular CGT. Obviously I'm jealous, but if i had the money, I think I'd spend it on some crazy track car, or aquiring some real classic like a Ferrari 275 GTB/4. Or maybe someone would sell me an F50 GT1 for 2mill :)

F1 cars are different. Stand behind one, when it's WOT accelerating, you'll know what I mean.
