I’m not impressed at all with GT5, On lap 154 out of 172, which took me (5 hours) solid driving it asks me to update and turned of the game and went to install it when I hit no 2 times when it asked me then I was on a turn it asked me and I just hit [x] by accident as I was still in a race and my screen went black I basically was distracted, anyways it should let you bloody finish what your doing or let you go back to what you where doing when it does what is needed to do and I wasn't even connected to the playstation network. :grumpy:
 
Man, that sucks... Gladly, I´m a no-online player.
 
Mental note for myself: Un-plug the net cable when doing an endurance race.
 
I'm on hour 8 of a 9 hour enduro (Bspec). You have some setting incorrect or something. This is the second update that has waited until I exited GT.

Mine or his? My PS is running right now.

Tuskuba (however it's spelled) 9hr enduro
LAP 616 - Time 8:24:00 <- that's 8 hours which was prior to the update.
 
Thats got to suck man, PD should of re-considered that one.

Should be fine. My bob is doing the 9 hour enduro. I was signed in when I started the race... no auto update for me.
 
When i got gold on my IC3 license test(which took me a whole hour) the game froze up on me and i had to do the test over....So dont feel too bad.
 
Didn't understand one bit because of lack of punctuation...
 
Race over. Got my Credit and My XP, then it saved data. When to GTlife page and I was signed out of network (probably automatically)...

Life's good here.
 
I almost feel your pain! I was doing the same Enduro last night here in the UK (GMT) and was having a short break looking on here and saw the thread about the 'Update for the 20th' i immediately signed out and carried on. Glad i did :ouch:
