Apologies if this has been suggested already, in which case report/lock the thread, but I searched and couldn't find anything quite the same.

Perhaps something along the lines of a Casual Mode, Amateur Mode and Professional or Hardcore Mode in the general game options would be a good idea.

Casual Mode could have all the assists and a less competitive AI. The AI would essentially be the same as it is now in the National B series and would generally have slower cars and be less aggressive. The "rubber band" effect would remain.

Amateur Mode would have no SRF or Driving Line but could have all real world assists, such as T/C, ABS, ASM etc, on every vehicle and more competitive AI. The AI would be similar to how they are in the S series but would not have any "rubber band" effect.

Pro/Hardcore Mode could have only the assists available that are actually fitted to the vehicles in real life and the most competitive AI. Here the AI would be as difficult as possible. They would defend their position and attack yours.

Each mode could be slightly different depending on how you want to play the game. Online lobbies could be separated using this setting as could the TT leaderboards.

Yes that sounds good to me, it would cater for all skill levels, great idea : )

A long as the settings in each mode are changeable eg all modes can have all aids off if the user wants. Only difference then would essentially be thd AI. The different modes could have progressively more reward. That reward could be in game credits but also different prize cars for each difficulty level. Would make replayability more attractive.

Each setting would only restrict the aids available. Whether or not the player has them on would remain their choice.

For example, if the player wanted easier AI but didn't want any assists they could play in Casual mode but turn off the assists.
