General suspension parts question

Hi! I am not a good tuner, have no idea and feeling for suspension, lcd and that vector thingy. I use the stock tunes or go to Praianos thread. I am curious is you consider other suspensions than racing useful? I would tend to use the sport or another mid tier suspension but i have no idea if they are really any better than stock as there have been some physics updates since march. What do you think about upgraded but not individually set suspensions? A waste or useful for a layman?

As for LCD and that vector thingy i would go with stock as i don't know what to make of it.

Transmission i use stock or the manually set one without the individual gears as i drive AT.
 
I especially find it strange that you can't see to what levels the suspension settings change before you buy it and that they probably don't fit after all the physics change. For example the preference of high rake setups at the moment...
