Why is it even referred to as German Touring Cars.., when genuine German touring cars can't be used for the event? Makes no sense that a BMW (standards version) race car in this title that is obviously a German touring car and well known within the WTCC.., can't be used....
 
Its supposed to be DTM series, so they allow cars of DTM specs.

It is not a "Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters" car though, so it's not "a DTM car." They had allowed the M3 GTR to race in GT5 also, which shouldn't be allowed either... Currently, BMW is not in the DTM series and none of them should be allowed..... The 3 series "touring" car is not to DTM spec.
