I used to have a G27/Wheelstand pro that I used primarily for GT5. I loved it and used the hell out of it, but eventually got bored after a few years and sold it. I was planning on waiting until next gen (GT on PS4), or at least until logitech released something new... but it's starting to seem like neither of those are going to happen anytime soon.

Anyway... Starting to get the itch again with GT6 out so I was thinking about getting another G27. I'm also planning on upgrading my computer soon and maybe doing some PC sim racing. Thought about getting a different wheel entirely, but it'd have to be under $400 new with everything including stand (clutch and h-shifter are a MUST).

Should I get another G27? Wait? Look at a different wheel setup?
 
Maybe I've got bad Intel, but somewhere I've heard Logitech is leaving the game wheel business... I honestly don't know if that's true or how soon product on the shelf becomes the last available. At the recent price points though, still seems good value for the money.
 
I am not sure where you live cramerizking, but if you are in Australia, JB hifi has the g27 for $299 at the moment.

A great solid wheel. I have put a full sized racing wheel on mine and flogged it for years. It has still never skipped a beat.
