Getting 80010038 ERROR!!!

Hello guyz. Frist i wanna say that i am new to ps3 games, and i recently bought GT 5. I tried to play it today, but i got a message that i must update it to version 2.05 (i never updated it, i just got the net connection to my ps3). After it downloads 1192 MB, it says installing and then i get this error 80010038. I got it several times, in the same spot. Can u guyz pls help me solving this? u cant imagine how much i want to play this great game. pls help me :)

Also, I will also remind you of the AUP: You will not use “textspeak” (“r”, “u”, “plz”, etc.) in your messages. Decent grammar is expected at all times, including proper usage of capital letters.

Thx guyz for the help. i managed to make it work. i had to delete my save and start again from first race :( but im glad it works now, online races aswell. Also, i was able to update it to version 2.05. Thx again. See u on the track :)

Broke the AUP with his first two words in the forum XD.
 
A yo dis err is wack! Yall cra Z!!! ...
But for real... Just redownload the game data.. This should take care of it, I had the same error when downloading all 15 gigabytes of GTA!

All you had to do was copy your save to a usb flash drive then delete the save off of your ps3 then reload it off of your usb flash drive... Remember this for future reference
 
I got this code before as well. If I remember correctly, I started to get it on a few games. For me it was hard drive errors.

As far as i know, you are allowed to spell like that ON OCCASIONS. I (I try my best atleast) spell better than him.
