Getting cars you actually want!!!!!?????

I am slowly starting to get into GT3 (i have only had it for 1 1/2 months) and am starting to do all the amatuer races where the computer picks at random (??) which car you win when you win the championships. I just did the Altezza race and was very keen to win the Altezza LM ar TOMS Chaser, but I come out with the freaking Yaris!!!!! AAAARRRRRGGGHHHH. I also did the 150mile superspeedway enduro last night and won the Corvette C5R.....again the ONE car I didn't want cause I will get it soon enough by getting to 50%. SO, my question is this, should I be saving it before the last race in the championship and if I don't get the car I want going back and reloading the old game, or just put up with the **** the computer dishes out....cause it won't change?? Oh and does it make a difference as to how well you do in the races/champs cause I won the superspeedway enduro by 16 laps....I thought I might get the F1 car (PAL version)??
