Getting disconnected after a race

Disconnects before races are unfortunately common, but has anyone experienced disconnecting after a race? I got victim by this and my rank went down by 3k from S to A because there's many D ranks in the race

Quite frustrating, to be honest. Has anyone else experienced this? Are there any solutions so this won't happen again?
