Getting listed cars that cannot be bought or won

I have tried a search with no success though I am sure it must be here somewhere I find it hard to believe that I am first to notice, so please advise.

Some cars cannot be bought ie they cost cr ------, I assumed that these cars must be won. However I notice when comparing to prize lists that this is not always so.

How do we get cars that have no price, nor appear as prizes ? I have found a few but as an example; there are two historic Benz cars from 1886. One can be won in the Professional Hall, but how do you get the other ?

That was copied directly from the prize car list. Try hitting ctrl-F and searching for the names of the cars that you can't find. You may find they are there.

all cars with zero price can be won in GT mode in races. That is for sure. List of those cars you can make yourself, just go through car sales and check for them. Not long work .

One is won in professional hall, world classic cars, and the other ¸in europe classic car league.

Be aware also for the cars you can't buy or win like the Tommy Kira II. After a certain amount of days, it can be bought for $500,000. Also, check out the Mazda dealer. Look at the 787. It's only come in it's traditinal Orange & Green color scheme. A few thousand days in to the game (Game days) and you will see that you have 2 colors to it. The black one of the 787. It also can be bought if you missed that 694 day apperance.

Actually, he's right. All cars with "----Cr" as a list price in your garage CAN be won, and the locations of all prize cars can be found in the FAQ thread at the top of this forum.

The two 1886 Mercedes/Daimler "cars" can be won at the locations he mentioned.


I fear you have misinterpreted vipersan's intent. Then again I fear if you tried to communicate the same information in his native language you wouldn't fare much better. No need for the personal attacks though, is there?

And StevenDunn - anything like the 205t16 tjcar mentioned - a car which appears listed at the manufacturer with no price but does not appear on the prize car list - can be bought in the Used Car garages. Since you're in the UK, you'd find my Used Car Cycles thread useful for this information.

well, sorry for misunderstanding ... :/

EDIT: also - There are 3 P205 cars. One is standard road car - Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 '85, which can be bough in used cars section (80's used cars). Availability I don't know exactly from my head, but can be found in Famine's thread about used car list PAL. There are also Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 Rally Car '85 and Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 Evolution 2 Rally Car '86 which can be both won in special condition hall but again can't tell you exact races from my head. But info can be found on forums by using search for PAL prize cars list.

The step-by-step guide on how to find which day a used Isuzu will appear in the Used Car Lot.

1. Click this: http://people.ku.edu/~sprice/GT4usedcars.html.
2. Click used car cycle download at the bottom of the page, then another screen will come up.
3. Click open and then click the 2nd icon.
4. Then, press Ctrl, then F, and type in Isuzu. It then will show the days you can get an Isuzu (it is located far right, and looks like __-__, with the __ being the day).

These lists are very comprehensive , thanks to those that created them , but I can't find either the Citroen 2CV or Alpine A110 or A310 in the used car cycle lists.

Neither can be bought from their respective dealers and are necessary to race in their manufacturers cups. Is this another case where they will be available from the manufacturer after a certain amount of days? Im at around day 800 at the moment.

Any ideas anyone ? Thanks in advance. ( feel free to abuse me if I have missed something obvious here ! )

Citroen 2CV: Can be won in the "Tous France Championnat" in European Hall. You'll get your second pink one by winning the 2CV Cup.

Alpine A110: Can be won in the Special Conditions Hall, dunno which race anymore. Alpine A310 is the prize car for the Alpine Cup.

And the 787B in a different colour? Which day is that? And which colour? I have 2 787B's, the black one (used one) and the green/orange one.
