Getting new work truck soon

The company i work for is supposed to be gettin a new work truck soon to replace the crappy Ford F150 extended bed w/ a stupid CNG alternative fuel system. Whats it being replaced with? Not much, just a Dodge Ram 3/4 ton...WITH a Hemi :) đź‘Ť I can't wait...gonna be so much better than that damn Ford. Its pretty much the "companies" truck, but I'm pretty much the one that uses it the most. Thats all...just wanted to share my excitement
 
Wow congrats you get to drive the most over rated truck in the entire world. I hate the Ram...and I really hate the Hemi. Its not that good as people make it out to be. You would be better to stay with the F-150, its so much better. Hell the Toyota is just about as Ford.
 
You will be surprised, the Hemi isn't a great engine. You would have been better with the new F-150 or a Toyota.
 
Why is the Hemi a bad engine? (I'm curious)

And congrats on the new truck, IMO the Ram is the best looking truck on the market.
 
I also think the Ram is the best looking truck on the market. I test drove a 2004 Rumblebee. This is the sporty version of the Ram. THese trucks have way more than enough torque with the Hemi in them. đź‘Ť That Ram will be way better than the F150. No comparison and anyone who argues about it is wasting breath. Congrats on the truck especially the 3/4 ton. That will be an excellent work horse. đź‘Ť
 
Woo! Just picked her up last week. Brand spankin new. Had less than 40 miles on it when I got it. This thing is great. So much better than the F150. Interior is nicer, it drives smoother, steering is tighter, brakes are stronger, has cruise control and a cd player (the ford didnt have em) and whenever I get on it, the exhaust scares me...haha. Its stock exhaust, but it just downshifts and roars. Plus im used to driving my turbo car, so im a little outta touch w/ that instaneous NA power...haha. Great truck tho, heres some pics

Well, its not like it was my choice or anything. haha, for what it is, its a damn nice truck. We never really do any kinda major hauling w/ it or anything, so it serves its purpose well.


and skip. That camaro is my dads little weekend toy. Its just a 92 RS w/ the little 305 that could..'nt. haha. Its a nice lookin car, but my wrx walks all up and down it. But still....theres nothing like driving around on a nice night w/ the t-tops off.

đź‘Ť đź‘Ť for both of the cars. I had a friend with a '82 305 Camaro with the same cowl hood. He had a fiberglass tailgate too. Both look very clean and tasteful. :)

I'm with you up until right here. Agreed. Dodge calls it the Hemi, posers think it's cool. Newsflash: it's a V8. Nothing special in the world about it. It accelerates no better (worse, even), it's not significantly better in towing, and it's no more powerful.

You would be better to stay with the F-150, its so much better. Hell the Toyota is just about as Ford.

But then you lose me. This is absurdly biased; every idiot who's driven the vehicles knows that, Nissan aside (which is really very opinion-based), Ford's got far-and-away the best truck on the market. Chevrolet screwed up from 1999 to 2003 not taking any of the F-150's share, now they're trying to make it up in the Latino community before the other companies capitalize, which is the best marketing idea in the last four decades, particularly the way they're doing it. But Ford's still on top.
 
i think the sierra denali is the best looking truck.

4 wheel steering and all that crap they advertise looks good too....but im not a truck-oficianado, so you guys can inform me otherwise.
 
This RAM 2500 truck is amazing. There are two on the racing team i work for. I had the chance to drive one of them a couple of times. That engine is incredible, and the build quality of the truck is amazing. Not to mention it runs beautifully, even when it's fully loaded (and i mean really loaded)
