Getting PS2 ang GT4 Today :)

My friend bought a PS3 over the weekend and is selling me his slim PS2 w/GT4 and 2 controllers for $60. I think he is throwing in a memory card also.

Im stoked and loved GT3 when I had a PS2. I'll problably post a lot more when I start playing.

This forum is awesome.

Welcome! I'm glad you're enjoying the forum.

GT4 ain't perfect, particularly not if you're into highly realistic sims, but it is a lot of fun despite its flaws. Have a good read on the Race Reports board and see what other people have run for any given event.

Well i got everything. The thing that sucks is the game works on his PS3 but when i put it in the PS2 it only reads some stuff. The CD is scrated pretty bad. There are kids in the house. But thats ok the game is only $20 brand new and ill just buy it used from gamestop.

If my disk got scrated that bad I think I'd drop dead the moment it stop.

the disk isn't that bad, If your savefile gets corrupted, that's bad!

even more for you, your at 98%! mine got corrupted at 56% I'm now back at 26%
 
Well i went to Gamestop and picked up another used copy of GT4 today. Plays great!!!!

I got my B Linscence. Then bought this car.

I've been corrupted at like 60% and my game wouldn't load at 70% now im only at 20%

tip: get your licences first, then do the rally's. this will give you a nice amount of cars.
 
i did the special event capri race and just sold the rally car 2 times 265k a pop lol. and bought a few used cars.

Wait till you buy a Touring car. Do the Deutsch Touring Meistershaft or DTM race, 5 races + 746,000 dollar CLK GTR and as calculated if you sell that you should have around 900,000.

true, that's my money maker too.

all you have to do is buy a mercedes(you b-spec driver will be like:drool:, ghehe)
win the event from the mercedes dealer, Legend of Silver Arrow: MERCEDES-BENZ CLK-DTM Touring Car (D2) '00, tune it to the max, let bob/willy/john/frank/however you like to call him(b-spec) do the DTM in the european hall. (unless your not so lazy as I am:P) then you'll have a nice amount of cash.:cool:

Nothing feels better than financial freedom^^.
