GF jelous?

Does anyone have a gf that can't stand that they play GT5 and would like to make the GT5 disk diapear? Mine does, all I do is talk about the automotive industry and motorsports which she don't mind but when I throw in a 6hr stint durring a 24hr Nurburgring it drives her crazy. And she thinks I love my car more than her which is crazy. Anyone else have this problem? well not really a problem but a ordeal
 
Nope lol. The only thing mine gets annoyed with is when I play for hours straight without talking/paying attention to her. It's mostly when she has to repeat herself (questions or whatever), I just pay listen out for her and everything's cool. We have a baby, so that clears up most of my problems as she's always busy with something :)

She loves the fact that I have a hobby and is interested in something (rather than no interests and getting into trouble), especially something she can (is) get into too. As for my car, she's happy that I keep it maintained and in perfect condition, she thinks a mans car is a reflection of his personality/class, not necessarily the "brand" but cleanliness/tidiness etc.

Whatever you do, do not marry this woman.

If she controls your PS3, she'll soon:
1. drive off your friends
2. make you sell your car
3. dress you in a manner that ensures you'll never date anyone else

Instead, find someone that loves you for you. Someone that will help you in your stints, not nag you through them.

Trust me, it's well worth it. When I tell my wife of my crazy escapades and maniac schemes, she's the first to help. Instead of disappointment over a traffic ticket, she's disappointed that it wasn't higher. To give you an idea, she cheerleaded me into a triple digit race with a Bentley Continental GT and a Mercedes SL55 from Denver to NM.

Get a woman like mine; have your cake and eat it too.
 
No such problem with my GF, she's crazy into her Warcraft/Skyrim kinda games, and I just don't understand those things at all.

We do have common ground though, we both love RockBand and play it all hours.

The only thing she objects to with GT5 is when I'm doing TimeTrials and getting frustrated and start swearing at the poxy slippy tyres... which is understandable really, since I wear headphones I don't realise just how loud my cursing is!

My mrs is as obsessed with video games as i am one problem is she wants co-op games when im playing gt.

Teaching her bit by bit rather than talking "at" her (where she hears you but not necessarily listening) helps a whole lot. Also, no one likes when someone goes on and on about something they know little of, if she knew what you were talking about, she'd have more of an appreciation for it.

Another trick is to take interest in something she like, whatever it is...if she sees you into something she wants, she'll do the same for you. It can't always be about what you want, it is after all, a partnership as well! Just a little relationship 101.
