Hello .
i wanna ask what the ghost car do ?
thanks

It's a see through and pass through car that is there for you to see the line you took on your best time around the track.

It can haunt you.

And distract you mightily when trying to improve.

You can have it on a button and turn it off and on when you like.

The Ghost Car is used to compare your current lap time to your best in real time, this feature is useful for seeing precisely where you're faster and slower than your best time as you change your driving line and style.

This is an incomprehensibly useful tool for improving your time.

It can also be useful for loading other peoples ghost times, allowing you to drive behind another driver and learn where they're faster than you and give you tips on how to improve your times

I never found ghost cars useful, never in all my life. They're just in the way. :irked:

Seriously ?? & by the way its "what *does* the ghost car do ?"

What a polite and helpful answer to this question. You truly are a beacon of helpfulness and an inspiration to the community.

Anyway, the ghost car is basically a recorded lap of your best time that appears on the track at the same time as you - personally I find it useful for helping with my entry and exit through turns, but most people seem to turn it off when they're trying to set a best lap because it can be distracting.

It was answered before I posted, & thanks I truly think helping people with spelling & stuff is very helpful on GTp. Ive been there & got an infraction through writing the letter "u" instead of the full word. My fault I should have fully read the AUP but I know I wasnt the first or wont be the last.
