Ghost Race

Hello,

Think its not been since GT3 that I've posted on here, but one thing I'd like is what I'd refer to as Ghost Race.

You start on poll, but all other racers do too. They are in ghost mode (or simply not there if chosen). Essentially it would be a time attack over X number laps, with positions and time deltas still visible.

Obviously there would be no slip or overtaking as you're against ghosts. Would be a cool discipline to introduce for GT7.

We used to have a "collisions OFF" mode, where an opponent's car would go transparent when within a certain distance.

A mate and I used to have a lot of fun racing on narrow tracks (such as the 'Ring) in grossly mismatched cars (lots of power vs lots of handling), races which resulted in frequent leadership changes and exciting finishes.

Sometimes we chose identical cars, and just sometimes, this led to some bizarre photos:-
