Ghosting opposition

I think this is my one complaint for GT Sport - cars the occasionally ghost when you get near them, they spin, make contact with a wall or go off track etc.

I hate this. I see why they did it but really if a car spins in front of you and blocks the track, well that's tough. This is racing.

Sometimes a backmarker will ghost for the guy in front of you and he passes straight through and then returns to solid when you get near it. I had an oval race where the unpredictability of this really messed with my head and I'm sure with everyone else's as well.

I believe they said that as you climb the license that this will happen less and less. Makes sense cause better drivers don't tend to drive like that. I think its almost needed early on. I watched a guy last night purposefully hitting people and was having a blast. That's why they did this

Aaaah. That makes sense and explains why I've been seeing it less now I'm up to a C

Since I can't seem to find the answer... Can you ghost at will in gt sport? I hate that feature in gt6 online.
