Gifted cars getting "stuck"

This is happening to me more and more, so I thought I would start a thread about it and see if it happens to everybody. About 20% of the time when somebody gifts me a car it gets stuck. The only way to get it is by either having them or somebody else send another item, horn, paint etc. Or usually I just go to one of my other accounts and send a horn to that account. Then both the car ticket and the other item show up. I don't recall this ever happening with anything else like level or birthday tickets, paints or anything but cars. Anybody else having this same issue?
 
I have well over 100 successful trades...happened about 3 or 4 times......
 
probably just the online issues?
or your gt5 disc needs cleaning?

I had this with a ticket, couldn't collect it. Someone sent me some paint a few days later and I clicked on 'collect all' and got the ticket along with all the paints.
 
Had it the very first time I sent a car. Thankfully it was to a mate and not a trade on here. And that was before I knew about backing my game up. Cost me a fully tuned Ford Lightning pickup.
 
I gotta agree with 911 and Marcos, only happened a handful of times over the course of a few months... but it has happened
 
My friend and I lost cars back in Nov. on the first update. He had sent two cars that I left in my "inbox" I updated the game without collecting the cars and they were gone.

I've noticed if you leave 20+ items in your "inbox" it sometimes appears stuck when you go to collect but It just takes waiting sometimes over a min to receive everything.

Those are the only bugs I've run into.
 
I've had one car sent to a friend take a week to turn up in his garage. I've also had a ticket that said it was recieved at 8:30 the day before, but I was playing on GT5 until Midnight.

It is an issue because it happens to me over and over again. Gets to be a pain IM'ing people to send me a horn so I can get a car that was sent to me.
 
If it's happening more than the norm reported here by major traders I'd say the problem is on your end...

Have no idea why however....

If you mean 100 items that simply doesn't happen as the maximum your allowed to receive and have on the "cart" is 50.I've known for a fact myself.
 
i had same problem, but mine was saving game while it was still in community part, i make sure to recieve it first and then save, just my two cents
 
i had the same problem once, someone sent the wrong item by mistake, a matte purple and a arto gyria (cant spell) and DEMANDED that i sent them back, i was like :S
 
I never witnessed it, except at the start when the game was out, when the servers were bad...

I dont think he means 100 items all in at the same time , i think he means 100 traded items all together.
