I just noticed that when you gift a car it loses the HP rating it had from the senders account, I gifted myself a Viper ACR with 1020 HP but when it arrived to my other account it went down to 900 HP maybe this is already known but new to me, can anyone confirm this?
 
I can't confirm that exact situation, but I've run into two of the exact same 0/0 cars with different HP from grinding tickets.
 
Oddly I had the same problem near release, I leant my ACR to my brother and when he gave it back it was down to 960hp and kept losing hp each race. I ended up oil changing (and overhauling) or something and it went back to normal though.
