Gifted Items Won't Delete! >_<

Basically a friend gifted me three items, a horn and two suits. They've been Starred in my Gifts Section. But Whenever I go to try Redeem them to get rid of the pesky star Nothing Happens. I click Recieve All. And nothing happens. I press Triangle to Delete them. And It Says Upload Failed!?

So I thought I'd sign into GT5 on the gran-turismo.com Website and see If I can see the Prizes/Gifts on there and it doesn't display anything new on there at all. Is there a way I can clear the cache or something as It sounds like the Items wernt properly downloaded and I don't want to have to delete all my installed data again! I just want that notification gone as it's annoying! Hope I placed this in the right Section but has anyone else had this prob?
 
I have the same issue with a couple paints and I can't figure out how to get rid of them. Clearing the casche may help, I haven't tried since I don't use that profile often.
 
happened to me as well, when I had to restore a savegame due to system hangup.

There seems to be no solution other than ignoring the "star".
 
I got this problem fixed it by sending a couple of paints from another account to the one with the stuck gifts, Then received all gifts, worked for me, hope it works for you.
