24 years ago, to this day, Gilles Villeneuve died in a tragic accident at Zolder circuit. a part of racing died with him that day in Belgium.

Villeneuve's fatal wreck. if you look at the debris above the Ferrari right as it tumbles onto the track, you will see a white blur about 5' 5" in height. that was Villeneuve.

I think Eddie Cheever summed up Gilles entire being perfectly when talking about his last few moments.
