Girlfriend decided to write about this after watching me playing

Hi guys,

My girlfriend started a blog where she writes about what she thinks of the games I play. Now being a avid GTer she's decided to write one about GT6.

I thought she actually made some valid comments (update times and track limits!) but wondered what you guys thought.

Exactly my thoughts - haven't sold it yet ;) don't think I will but I'm not gonna tell her that!
 
Not sure in getting a steering wheel now but does seem a good excuse to get out of ironing, good reading though.
 
There will be more posts about GT6 right?
 
Good write up, and some valid points. If she wants another perspective on the game, have her join a decent online lobby and watch some online racing, it is there that a steering wheel comes in handy. :)
 
I read the write up and found it entertaining, but a wheel is only a waste of money if you don't use it. If you use it every day and get enjoyment form it and the game then it's not a waste of money. The most common reason why wheels sit unused is because people don't invest in a decent stand (e.g. Wheelstand Pro).

Exactly right. I wouldn't even play the game without my wheel & playseat.

I also readed the write-up and your girlfrend's review is awsome. If I had to give a score, then I would give it a 7/10. It looks that you and girlfriend share the gaming passion together. I wish that I could have an girlfriend that who had the same interests as me...

FYI, if you look to the left of the screen you will see the "PS" logo and a name...that's everyone's username :)
 
This is great! That was a joy to read. And I think it's great that your girlfriend gets a kick out of your games in her own unique way. Good girl. Gotta remember to add this to my own list of "girlfriend qualifications". haha.

good read, it made me want to read more of your adventures :)

valid point made here by others:
a wheel is great but only if you have a good and comfortable stand for it.
just be creative and ready to use a bit of wood and screws/nails: you could make a cheap thing to really enjoy your wheel

That's a really nice review though 👍

But this part made my jaw drop a bit:
I think because we are both petrol-heads we were always going to like this game but I do find sometimes it can take itself a bit too seriously and lack a certain element of fun.

Your girlfriend would be quite popular in these parts if she continued to write about your adventures with GT6. It's always interesting getting an outsider's perspective on things, and in this case being from the significant other of a fan makes it even more intriguing.

It depends on what kind of event you're going. If it's a Seasonal TT, then any wheel off the track is a DQ. However, if you're just doing a single player TT then it only DQs you if go off on the inside of an apex. Go off on the outside and you're fine.

"OOT" should be "OTT"....

But otherwise, well written.

Kept me interested to the end, and did actually give an insight into the game.
