I'm tearing my hair out at Microsoft here, it's business as usual with their ****** email service. My girlfriend can sign in to her MSN account easily but when she tries to access her emails she just gets an error page. It suggests trying again later or reporting a problem, but the report button doesn't work either.
Is there any way of getting genuine tech support from Microsoft about this? I've been Tweeting as many of their pages as possible shouting about the fact that we've lost holiday details that we need to access, but the chances of getting a reply are stupidly small given how bad a company they are in general.
Anyone got any advice? She's tried accessing her inbox across 4 different computers and every possible browser but nothing works. She can access her profile page and edit her details but nothing e-mail related will work!
She's done that, but the password isn't the problem. She can sign in without any issues; her Xbox Live account works perfectly as does her MSN home page. It's just her Hotmail page that won't load.
Try a mobile site or an app (if there is one, I'm not sure.) Using them might not fix your issue but you might be able to get on and forward any important emails to another address.
You could wait a few days. Sometimes Hotmail will take down a random chunk of accounts for maintenance (probably a specific server) whilst others will be able to log in fine.

Thanks for all of the help guys, she's sort of got it fixed now. She still can't access it fully but she's managed to get hold of all of the important things and has transferred them over to Google Mail instead! 👍
