This suitably sleek offering is Giugiaro's Geneva show car.

Called the Vadho, it is powered solely by hydrogen gas and features an offset cockpit for driver and passenger, tandem-style.

The engine sits to the left of the driver, hopefully creating an ideal weight balance.

It's not just the car's canopy that has an aeronautical theme - the Vaho has no steering wheel, the driver instead steering via two joysticks.

In theory, the car's cockpit could be set on the right for right-hand-drive markets such as the UK. Sadly, however, we don't rreckon it's ever likely to get that far.

Sadly, however, I don't reckon it's ever likely to get to us even in the left-drive market.

I wonder how an off-set engine would function in the heat of cornering. Maybe the balance would be a bit wierd. Or accelerating, maybe the left wheels would be completely shredded while the rights are barely warm in a quarter mile run.

Other than that, it looks like a pretty cool car. I'm looking forward to see pictures of this coming up.
