Glitch Car ???

This glitch allows you to permanently "borrow a person car and own it.
How to do this:

1. First, borrow a friends car. Delete GT5 game data, it's the first folder in the Game tab in the XMB
(Note: Is delete game data not game save)
2. Start GT5, refuse to download the patches
3. You should own the borrowed car BUT select a different car in your garage
(Note: Must select a different car)
4.Save the game, exit the game, and re-enter the game.
5. Install patches and enjoy!
Pros of this glitch:
1. The original owner keeps the car and you get a copy of it
2. There's no types of trade caps
Cons of this glitch:
1. Time consuming
2. DELETING GAME DATA does not REMOVE ANY DLC

This works with ANY car except DLC and Stealth Cars


IS it true?? if is it can someone put me the X2010 Prototype on share... i would like it...(only car i'm missing) Any possible problems with DLC cars?

This is possible to do, yes. People have been doing it since GT5 came out. I don't know if there are problems with DLC though.

Oh my god really... anybody have a 2010 X1 Prototype with no millage to share?

but i'm not sure... what happen with stuff you have in your game progression like helmets, suits... they were not in the game at the beginning... so when you save to keep the cars ... no problems?

I'm not to sure to be honest, i've never done the glitch myself.

Ok so finally i think i will try it... i will make a copy of my game save before i will do it just to be sure so... i'm searching for someone who want to put an X2010 Prototype Redbull on share for me... i would like it 0/0/0 if possible but important is no win on it and under 5 switch... i can always reset the millage by myself... no worries i will not put millage on your car

i tried during 2 hours on Nurburgrin and still 0.818 to get it, i cant do better... I got gold on Monza and did not tried Suzuka a lot..

People have been doing it since GT5 came out.

Not really, people didn't had to use that glitch because there was no trading limit when GT5 came out and you couldn't borrow cars before update 1.06

You get one for free at level 35 B Spec.

So I have to say in "the other side's" defense.. You can say the car is meant to be earned, but there is an entire marketplace thriving on GTPlanet trading paints and cars everyday, paints and cars meant to be earned.. Also there use to not be a $ cap on trading so if the cap was gone I guarantee this car would be easily accessible and in fact was easily accessible for those lucky enough to have the game when/shortly after it first came out.. And @ Mathiue if no one wants to add you I will gladly add you and restore my Prototype so you can do your glitch, it has many wins and switches but I can restore it, sorry I can't do any better but it's the car I use to "grind" Indy and BSpec endurances..

All of those other things being traded are what COULD be bought though, the only thing stopping them is money/time so they decide to trade instead. The X2010 Prototype however is one of the very few (only?) cars in GT5 that can only be earned through player skill, not bought.

If you want it, you should earn it with the required skill. If you can't do it, you don't get the car. It's no big deal but gamers these days seem to feel entitled to everything even if they don't have the skill required.

HPA Motorsport R32 and Jaguar XFR '10 are two more.. I understand what you mean, I have not got the platinum trophy but it's not because I "Can't" I just have no desire to drive a Mercedes around Nurburgring until I beat a set time (Hate this challenge ) but I do like to drive every car and tinker with each and every one! ... I just think for how long GT5 has been out that the "game" has become more of an online thing rather then a game if you know what I mean? I loved all the Gran Turismos and beat all but GT4 when they weren't online and loved every minute of it! .. I believe gaming has changed, it is sad but it's true.. But no matter what, if I can help someone I will... I'm sorry I seem to be rambling on, haha, I'm just tired and believe its time for me to sign off, take care until next time GTPer's.

, ok i got the car, went to 1.05 version saved and made a backup so and now i'm on 1.10 version ... I win Suzuka... but Nurburgrin is very hard... i think more chance to win it without the glitch loll... i have been able to pass throught the wall only one time... but my car just reappear on the track few seconds later... and now i can't pass throught the wall again... loll

Haha ... just the obsession of having all the cars... you know i bought all cars it's just to collect all i never drove most of them.. i got all level tickets but never really use it... except level 24 for fgt colors.. collector maniac lol

I will now have 2 illegal car in my garage...

HPa R32 that a friend send me... ( I sold that car at the beginnig for money i guess for buying a car for the next series, i will never do that again in GT)

and now the Prototype x2010...

i also got 4 missings colors of FGT by level 24 ticket... but wasnt cheating i delete a 20M Vetel Red Bull in exchange ( I had 2 ) 4 FGT 5M$ = 20M$ so that was fair .. just trade my Vetel championship car for 4 fgt loll
