Glitch! (I think)

I was painting my RS6 Avant, I had 2 neros. I painted the wheels nero and then I went to paint the car nero and I still had two! So I painted the car nero and I still had one left! (No, they were the same chip, and it DID say 2). They WERE the same chip so I don't know, glitch?

I think You have had chip's somewhere on list.
That works sameway like sending paint chip's when your list shows 0.
They disapears from elsewhere on list 👍
(Yes I tought I got infinite paints once :lol: )
So no glitch.Sorry :)
 
Paints aren't always grouped together. I had 3 Bay Side blues in different locations.

I noticed this too. So even if we use a chip which says that you own 2, the game may actually use a third identical chip which hasn't been grouped with the 2 you actually selected for the paint job?

Yes. The problem is more compounded if you trade a lot. There is no fix.

I have never traded any paint chips but I have noticed the same grouping issue with racing suits and helemts which I neither have traded. This is a bug PD should be able to address but it's so old that I doubt they will.

You don't necissarily have to trade to get the bug. Receiving causes it. If you buy a car in the UCD/OCD/ADHD, then are gifted the same color from PD as part of your daily bonus, they may end up in different places, for whatever reason.

Of all the bugs, I'm not sure this one deserves the most attention. I believe online players would like more stability, and I would appreciate a more consistent tire sound when racing online. No offense, but for me, this doesn't constitute a "need".
 
Wouldn't it be great if they fixed it! How about grouping all my paints!!

I certainly agree that there are far more important issues but it would be nice if they could spend some time on fixing even the smallest bugs Instead of adding features and DLC every other month.

I have this glitch now for a month, I paint anything with anything and PAINT stays the same all the time.. I can pick chrome and paint all my cars in one color :) but i cant paint rims, when I paint rims color is used. anyways this not happens all the time, but about 5 times out of 10.... and it dosnt bother me, I kind a like it!

PS. I never trade... I do gift some cars time to time..
