Glitch in mid-game adjustment?

Last night I took the R35 GT-R around the Fuji GT track and mid game I was able to adjust the 4WD torque balance between the front and back wheels.

Then after that I took the R34 Mine's Skyline GT-R around the same track, and when I went to adjust the 4WD torque it wouldn't let me. It was stuck at 100% torque to the back wheels and non to the front, just like a RWD car!

I dont get this, the Mine's R34 is a 4WD car, just like the R35, so why cant I adjust this setting?

Is this a glitch in the game?

EDIT: I just went a normal R34 GT-R V-Spec II and I cant adjust the 4WD torque on that either....

It depends on the individual car. Some of the 4WDs have adjustable torque and some don't.
I guess that is a reflection of if the torque is adjustable in real life, not necessarily on the fly, but at all.
The Audi R8 for instance also has the torque set permanently at 35/65, which I presume reflects the actual car.

I think too that's a glitch, because the R34 is a 4WD . Adjustable or not still a 4WD not RWD. Im sure PD will fix this at some point.
edit / could it be the Mines is actually a RWD and the normal R34 a 4WD, but not adjustable ?
... will have to look later today.

I'm willing to bet it's because the R34 is RWD in normal driving but the electronic center differential transmits power to the front wheels when the rears lose the grip. The non-adjustability probably means that the system works by itself and you can't mess with it. The car certainly isn't full RWD judging by the handling which supports the theory.

Pretty sure that in quick tune you can't change the power bias, so it's not a bug, just not adjustable. Not sure about the power bias figure though. From memory I thought the split in QT was 30/70?

If it displays 30/70 in the tuning menu (before the race) and 0/100 in the 'online' quicktune menu, that's a bug.

It also does it with the normal V-Spec II R34 GT-R, not just the Mine's.

Im not sure what it displays in the QT menu, will have a look later. All I know is on the "online" quicktune menu it shows 0/100 for both Mine's R34 and normal R34.

Where as the R35 GT-R is set to 35/65 as standard.

R34 GTR is RWD in real life, when it starts to lose grip to the front it automaticly puts torque to the front. I think theres a sensor that you can remove to make it rwd all the time and then go drifting.

What about the Evo IX? I tried to adjust the 4WD torque in that just a little while ago while doing that Eiger Norwand time trial (B-3, currently have silver and I want gold) and it also would not let me.

Well that's because it's a time trial, and you can only adjust the brake balance, TCS, and ABS for the time trial type races I believe.

Thats incorrect, because in the R35 GT-R time trial (B-class, just like the Evo IX, not sure which one) you can adjust the 4WD torque....

Sorry, I meant the non-adjustability of the bias not being a bug? The figure displayed could be a number of factors, but for the standard R34 the 'Electronic Torque Split' gives the driver the 100 per cent rear-wheel drive car, up to 50/50 depending on what you're doing with the car. Maybe the Mines only goes to a max ratio of 70/30 or whatever the figure was? Can't find any info. on the net. PD also changes figures from one screen to the next I think depending on scenario, remember the power levels of a car changing depending on garage or car view in older GTs?

I could have sworn I remember reading that one of the skylines had been converted from AWD to RWD only, maybe it was this one?
