ps3
I lost interest in the game there is a glitch in it, and for that i just stop putting in time. what i have learned it each disc, or ps3 gives different times sounds crazy. i have a car running 10.091 i gave a guy the same tune and he is not getting the time i am getting, now i told him what to do, mark my words her is a pro and one of the top guys, he got 10.127 out of the tune. So i test the car over and over got the same 10.091 then sent it to him, he still was getting 10.127. For saying all this i could get a time with your tune that you cant get. Most top guys know this after the update the cars do not run the same time any more, what i am putting out there has been tested many times with different friends.

Have you sent a car with an auto tune and compared "full throttle before load" launch?

I noticed this a while back, I tune my bro-inlaw IS F and ran a decent time with it but used the same tune on mine that is broken in and was nowhere near that time, but didn't pay much attention to it cause I thought I miss something. Gonna have to retest this again.

So is it the old PS3 or the new PS3 Slim that has the slower times. Or does it even matter which of the PS3s you have?

believe me when i say we try every thing, not sure bout what ps3, i have the 320gb new one, but i find it strange. when he sent me back my car and i run it on the first run i did 10.094.

I think you guys are stretching your imagination on this one. Different discs give different times, really? The DLC is online only, it wasnt on any of the discs. Someone doesnt know the proper timing for the shift and this how you spin it. Maybe if I buy some snakeoil and put it in the gas tank I will make a Fiat 500 run as fast as a GTR.

I just tested fest0rs WRX spec C and got the same time he got 10.061 so it's most likely from the driver not the game

I've noticed time differences when I run my evo 8rs. One time I ran a 10.102, my lowest ever. I cannot duplicate it for the life of me. Same tune, I re ran it and got 10.12x. One of the few cars I run on auto. Is my car losing power as I continue to run? Always run with full throttle launch. I too have the newer ps3, 320 gig also I'm hard wired to the internet with 25mbs.

ok guys i am going try to let you understand, i have a car running a time call it 10.000 in auto , i sent the car to a friend let use a name master shakes as an eg, when he test the car he got 10.099 every time he run it, knowing master shakes he would try every launch trick and see if he could get the time i run. he would then tell me that there is no way i am running the time i told him cause he try it, so he send me back the car i test it again and i got back 10.000, how do explain that prob?

Different people do 1/4
miles diff maybe u launched bettr than him

I have the same problems evo...seems like its random numbers? Or possibly connection speed? But you can run it offline. **** is confusion. Looks like a new update is needed...

A bit more info for the Impreza spec C '05 test with Karo:

UK Collector's Edition (PAL) with 320gb ps3 slim 10.281 auto (ftbl) / 10.061 manual
US XL Edition (NTSC) with 160gb slim 10.288 auto (ftbl) / 10.061 manual

The only explanation I can think of is a slightly different length of video between the black screen and launch because of NTSC/PAL frame rate differences  This wouldn't affect the timed launch, but would affect auto using full throttle before loading.

Wow you explain it in a way makes such sense.
