Lately, when I make a post YouTube video and a picture, either off-site or even just one of the GTP smileys, the picture won't appear but the YouTube video will. It doesn't matter if I'm posting the video or if I'm just quoting another post. I first noticed it when I made this post and the smiley wouldn't appear no matter what I did, but today it happened again when I tried to link an off-site picture after a Youtube video.

Here's an example:

On my screen, any picture posted (offsite or smiley. Doesn't matter) before a Youtube video in a post shows up; but any picture posted after one in a post does not. And it doesn't matter if it is the same picture or not, because in that example I posted the same smiley before and after and only the first showed up. Me and Wiegert did some testing on the matter before I posted this, and it definitely seems to be a GTP problem rather than a problem with my computer.

Hm. I hadn't considered it being a problem with a Firefox update, but yeah. Went back to Firefox 12 and it fixed it. Apparently it is a problem with Firefox 13 (or 13.1, which is what I was on.)

I use Chrome and it's fine. I generally used IE9 and I can't see embedded videos period.

Quoted to see if it happens in quotes as well (yep it does).

I'm having a similar situation with FF 13.0.1. Hopefully the next revision will fix it.

While we're at it, here's another graphic:
:)
which also appears not to show up in FF13.

I can't see the picture but I can see the smiley and the video. Also the site was going freaky a minute ago. When I refreshed the page the website glitched flashing text and what appears to be images when I scrolled. I'd like to add that I'm using Firefox 13.0.1.

It's also showing up nicely on FF 14.0.

EDIT: Just happened to me. The OP doesn't show the 2nd smiley but on the quote, it does appear.

This happens to me too, im using firefox version 13.0.1, when I quote the OP I can see there is a smiley, then the YT vid, then another smiley. but just looking at the post I only see the first smiley and the YT vid, the smiley after it doesn't show up.

This is an issue caused by AdBlock Plus. Disable the extension to see the image and to support the websites you're visiting.

Sorry to say this, but... it can't be a result of AdBlock+ being enabled/installed.

I finally updated to FF 15.01 because my school website was starting to complain because I was still on FF 12. I disabled AB+ on GTP and reloaded this page. I disabled AD+ entirely and reloaded this page. I even went so far as to uninstall AB+ from Firefox, restart it, and there is still no difference.
I did some checking, fiddling around with stuff, and it seems that all pictures after a Youtube video on a page load after you resize the page window (pushing the maximize button or double clicking on the title bar), but it doesn't seem to matter whether you open the page in fullscreen or not when you first open it. It also doesn't seem to load pictures when you do that if there are none before the video (the post linked in the OP doesn't get fixed when you maximize the screen), or something that doesn't make the problem fix consistently.

That's because it appears to be a Firefox (only) issue.

For what it's worth, it works fine with Seamonkey (another Mozilla project) but I don't have the latest version; I have 2.5 and the current version right now is 2.12.1. When/if I get around to upgrading it I'll try it again.

Firefox 15.0.1 is still having the problem.

By toggling that extension on and off, the problem appeared and then disappeared when I checked in June.

I just checked now with a clean installation of Firefox 15.0.1 on both Mac and Windows 7 (with both systems running the latest version of Flash) and could not re-create this problem, so it's likely related to some other plugin. You'll have to enable/disable the add-ons you have installed to see if you can narrow down the source of the problem.
