Hey people, I was in a Nurburgring 24hr lobby and the track suddenly glitched up into a very dark mess. the whole surface of the track turned black which made it impossible to see where we were going. This didn't only happen to me in the lobby it happened to nearly all of the lobby.

Any ideas?

Just little oil leakage on someones car.

Looks like they repaved the surface and removed all of the grass because of all the people going off-track.

I've experienced this is at La Sarthe 2009 Weather/Time Change. I am pretty sure ameer67 experienced this as well, since we are in the same club and this happened in one of our lobbies.

I experienced a glitch earlier. I was in the 715pp seasonal event, and found myself up against MY OWN '92 Civic which is fully tuned to 370ish bhp with a 1/4 mile setup. What's that about?

cgg

Unrelated to the OP, but that's still pretty freaky. o_O

Yeah...

The OP is usually down to the processor not keeping up isn't it?

could be but processor issues with the whole lobby?

Didn't read the bit about everybody.

Must just be the server then.

Used to be able to actually induce this effect by using a Dodge Ram that had been hacked/hybrided to have a negative or zero pp (can't remember which) Only one person needed to do it for the entire room to see this. It would also make the interior of premium cars glow so bright it was almost nuclear!

Smuttysy

Can.you still do this

No idea, as I no longer have the truck, due to all the updates the data all reset and no longer worked when I tried it. Could well be someone else has figured another way to get a near zero pp level, probably with another vehicle too. It's the most likely cause for this, based on mine, and several of my friends' experiences.

That sounds freaky xD but also interesting

Interesting find. I've had this a couple times before, probably just a graphics glitch caused by some sort of lag/connection errors.

So... I believe what you're looking at was caused by LE ME. :D

This, ladies and gentlemen, is the result of stalling an Acura DN-X/Honda Dualnote. Only to be done with a clutch-supporting wheel, requires like 3 or 4 attempts before getting it done due to strange timing these cars require.

Why I did that was because I was a bit bored, and wanted to show people a strange bug, maybe something to laugh or at least smile at a bit.

Before you bash my skull in, I just want to say that I was NO IDEA it could affect other people in the lobby in a negative way. Please don't try to say that I was trying to troll/annoy anyone in the lobby, because I don't do that unless someone deserves it, and that lobby was filled with nothing but nice people.

My apologies! :D

EDIT:

From what I've found online and after asking some friends on GT5 I found that it actually is NOT the cause. A few of my mentioned friends had this problem as well. They are 100% sure they did not see a Dualnote/DN-X in their lobbies.

So I guess we're still not quite familiar with this case.
