I'm a new user to the forums so I apologize if this subject has already been posted before.
For the last 8 months I've been using the custom soundtrack feature in Gran Turismo 5 using the music stored in the MUSIC folder on my PS3's hard disk drive without any problems. Recently I loaded up Gran Turismo 5 as usual and jumped into a racing event. As soon as the the race began my game locked up about 5 seconds later and I had to push and hold the power button down for a few seconds to turn off my PS3 system manually (with the beep), nothing else would work.
I figured that maybe I had some corrupted MP3s stored on my HDD that were causing my game to crash so I deleted them. The same problem occurred. Now I have the custom soundtrack option turned off and only use the original GT5 soundtrack stored on the BD-ROM disc.
Has anyone else experienced this problem also?
