General Motors is to unveil an all-new electric concept car at the Shanghai Auto Show later this month. This will use a nearer-production version of the Chevrolet Volt concept's powertrain, though it will be badged as a Buick.

GM describes the car, developed at its Pan Asia technical centre, as a 'precursor of future global Buick design language', and says the project emphasises the Shanghai engineering and design centre's growing role within GM.

You see, GM can do this for China because that is pretty much the only place they sell Buicks anymore.
The solution? Lets continue to not buy Buicks, and we should be safe.

I was just beginning to like Buicks, but older ones. I looked at their website few weeks ago, and all the Buicks I liked has been discontinued(not that I could afford it anyway).

I can't wait to hear more about this new Buick in China. It is amazing how a company like Buick enjoys the kind of brand recognition it enjoys over there.
