So I went Go Karting with work last night. Awesome fun! I turned up late and only got 1 quali lap (which was my first lap out) and qualified 11th. By the end I had worked my way up to 4th. Not bad.

Now I'm a fairly big chap, about 15 1/2 Stone. The guy that won is tiny, he can't be more than 9st. Probably closer to 8st. His best lap was a 52.2, mine was a 53.2. I'm sure my extra weight gives me a penalty but I don't know how much. Can anyone *cough* @Famine *cough* work out our relative performance?

Let me know what info you need.

The track was Sanddown Daytona.

Not without loads more information, and even then I'd just be guessing.

However, you're 70% heavier than him - likely resulting in a rig weight of about 35% more on a 55kg kart, or so - and only 2% slower, so it's very likely you'll be significantly faster in any calculation.

Ok thanks. Good to know :) 2nd and 3rd, while still lighter than me were much closer to my size so it would have been much closer.
