First of all, I'm new here, but let's say, I've been following this forum since I bought gt5, and I decided to register today.
I've been wondering how in this earth can people get vettel's challenge accomplished. I'm at level 35 a-spec, I got all gold a-spec races and championsips, 3/5 all gold licenses and the rest all silver, amg academy all gold, some endurances done,all seasonal done, and I can't even get bronze in vettel's challenge. Once I unlocked the challenge, I didn't care about it, but now, I've nothing to do, and spent last night trying that. It requires you to be a robot or something, because, at least at Nurb GP, I do the two laps giving my best(doing that fast moviments like a robot), AND I can't even get bronze. If I push to hard, I'll be on the grass. Sometimes I was near getting bronze or even silver or gold(I don't know, the time was near) and just drive off to the grass on the last corner. How the hell someone got gold or even finished it?? I can't finish it. I think im gonna give up the red bull. That is not for me.
I use a logitech driving force gt, I don't know if someone uses the same and got some tips. I just felt that I should write here my anger about this stupid car, and this stupid challenge. In the future polyphony will only put cars like that in their games, and I'll not be playing them, that's for sure.

First of all welcome in mate. Secondly, I dont havea clue abou the vettel challenges. Now i regard myself as a fairly good driver in the game but there is nothing about the X2010 that makes me enjoy driving in the game.

Calm down, mate. You won't get anywhere near beating the times in just one night. First get used to the handling of the car, adjust to the fast pace, learn very well the tracks, and then attempt to beat the times.

You should get to level 35 B spec, drive the crap out of the Vettel you get for reaching that level, and then go back to the Vettel challenge. Unless you get lucky it will take hours and hours or days even to bronze the Vettel or silver and gold it. Stick with it and you shall claim your Vettel lol.

Just take your time. First off, just complete the lap, then slowly build up the pace, you will slowly get more confident. Ive your getting frustrated, just come back another time.
The Vettel challenge, really is a challenge.

I'll give it another try tonight. the funny thing is, that I was now trying it at deep forest and I can drive it pretty fast and do constant times near 40 seconds. but at nurb, I cannot maintain the pace or even try to go slowly to learn the track with car. I just feel bad by looking like a robot driving that cr*p, and not finishing it.
